INDICATIONS:

– GLUMA Desensitizer treats hypersensitive dentine by precipitating plasma proteins, reducing permeability.
– Relieves pain in exposed cervical areas and prevents sensitivity post-tooth preparation.
– Apply beneath all restorations: crowns, bridges, veneers, and direct restorations.

Key Specification :

– GLUMA Desensitizer contains glutardialdehyde and 2-hydroxyethyl-methacrylate, posing local irritation and toxic risks.
– Dispense only the minimal required amount, taking appropriate precautions.
– Avoid inhalation and skin contact; wear gloves and protective goggles.
– Protect patient’s eyes from splashes.
– Do not use if unable to adhere to precautions or application technique, or if allergic to its ingredients.
– Avoid use in cases of pulpitis, pulp exposure, or adjacent dentine perforation.

Direction To Use 

– For treatment of hypersensitive dentine:
– Clean the dentine with cleansing pumice and rinse.
– Protect mucous membranes with a rubber dam.
– Apply GLUMA Desensitizer to the dentinal surface using pellets or brushes.
– Dry the surface with compressed air and rinse thoroughly with water.
– Cover deep cavities or areas near the pulp with cavity lining if necessary.

– For dentine prepared for complete cast restorations:
– Protect mucous membranes with a rubber dam.
– Remove moisture with compressed air.
– Apply GLUMA Desensitizer and leave for 30-60 seconds.
– Dry the surface with compressed air, rinse, and suction excess.
– Cover cavities or pulp-proximal areas with cavity linings before desensitizer application.
