Description

Solo Etch is a 37% phosphoric acid dental etchant gel primarily used for pre-bonding procedures, such as dental fillings and orthodontic brackets. It possesses a medium viscosity, allowing for precise application without being overly runny or thick. The gel’s thixotropic nature ensures it becomes fluid upon agitation, facilitating easy placement, but swiftly returns to a gel-like state, preventing unintended runoff. An essential advantage is its non-drying property, ensuring it remains in a usable gel form, contributing to a long shelf life when appropriately stored. After application, Solo Etch washes off effortlessly, leaving no residue on the tooth surface, thus ensuring proper preparation for subsequent bonding procedures.

Direction To Use 

• Ensure proper storage and handling to maintain its effectiveness and shelf life.
• Dry the tooth surface thoroughly before application to ensure optimal adhesion.
• Dispense an appropriate amount of Solo Etch onto a disposable applicator or brush.
• Apply the gel precisely on the enamel or dentin surface requiring etching. Take care to avoid contact with soft tissues.
• Use a gentle, circular motion to spread the gel evenly, covering the entire etching area.
• Allow Solo Etch to remain in place for the recommended time to achieve effective etching.
• After the designated time, thoroughly rinse the tooth surface with water to remove the gel completely.
• Ensure the tooth surface is clean and free from any residual etchant before proceeding with the bonding procedure.
• Recap the Solo Etch syringe or container securely after use to maintain its quality and prevent contamination.
• Store Solo Etch appropriately for future use.
