Description

PF SEAL is a light cured sealant that is recommended for the prevention of caries by sealing pit and fissure. It contains Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP) having excellent remineralizing properties.

PF Seal is designed to provide superior protection against occlusal decay. This micro filled material offers the perfect combination of flow, opacity, and wear resistance. This product is available in two shades.
White opaque which is good for detection and Clear Translucent which allows dental practitioner to see underneath.

Indications :

  • Sealing/Filling of the pit and fissure
  • Sealing/Filling of damaged enamel surfaces
  • Filling of the small caries & caries predilection sites during orthodontic treatment
  • Filling of the deciduous teeth

Storage Conditions :

  • Store at temperature between 10°C to 24°C.
  • Close the cap carefully after use. Keep away from moisture.
  • Shelf life not affected after opening if stored in a cool dry place.

Direction To Use

Indications for Use :

– Seal fissures as soon as possible after tooth eruption and when moisture control is achievable.
– Isolate operating site and clean surfaces with fluoride-free rotating brush/cleaning paste.
– Extend fissures if needed for incipient caries or unclear diagnosis.
– Apply Actino 37% etching gel for 15-30 sec, ensuring opaque, matt-white appearance after rinsing.
– Dispense PF Seal accurately into fissure or cavity, remove air bubbles.
– Light-cure PF Seal for 40 sec per surface with appropriate light output.
– Re-seal undercuts, remove excess cautiously, polish if needed.
– Apply fluoride varnish to treated and neighboring areas.
