Description

Riva Star is a new generation desensitiser that immediately relieves tooth sensitivity.

INDICATIONS :

• Desensitising cervical tooth hypersensitivity
• Cavity Cleansing

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

Do not desensitise teeth with carious lesions

Do not use on patients undergoing thyroid gland therapy, who have a history of chemical allergies such as silver, fluoride, potassium, iodine, ammonia and methacrylates. Note: If in doubt, consult a doctor or an allergy specialist before use.

Key Specification 

– For professional use only
– Avoid treatment on pregnant or lactating women
– Anterior teeth treatment may cause staining
– Inform patients about potential staining
– Apply Gingival Barrier before Step 1 to prevent tissue burns
– Avoid contact of Step 1 solution with oral tissue, eyes, and skin
– Solution from Step 1 will stain; handle with gloves and eye protection
– Single-use only; do not use after expiry date
– Not for use with resin-based composite restorations

STORAGE AND HANDLING:

• Do not pierce foil of silver capsule or green capsule until ready to use
• Store in a cool and dark place at temperatures between 2° and 8°C (35° – 45°F)
• Use at room temperature between 20° and 25°C (68° – 77°F

Riva star kit contains

• 10 x Riva silver capsules
• 10 x Riva green capsules
• 2 x Gingival barrier

Direction To Use

– Clean tooth/teeth with non-fluoride prophylaxis paste
– Assess teeth condition; treat only those with sound dentine and enamel
– Isolate area with cotton rolls
– Dry teeth and adjacent gingival tissues
– Apply Gingival Barrier, slightly overlapping tooth and interproximal spaces
– Light cure evenly
– Pierce silver capsule, apply solution
– Pierce green capsule, apply generously until clear
– Blot dry, remove barrier
– Discard used capsules and brushes properly.
