Description

Nano Coat is a revolutionary, light cured, protective coating that effectively seals the surface to create a smooth and glossy surface on the glass ionomer and composite restorations. It can also be used to polish areas such as posterior fissures or interproximal areas of indirect composite restorations.

Nano Coat Light Cured Protective Varnish is a protective coating for glass ionomer, composite and temporary restorations. The Liquid glaze ensures improved aesthetics and increased strength, toughness and protection. It is designed for optimum wetting, strong adhesion, enhanced wear resistance and extra protection for margins.

Indications :

• Protects glass ionomer fillings from drying during the first hour after placement
• Increase the wear resistance of restoration
• Glossy surface for composite resins

Composition :

Bis-GMA, Urethane Dimethacrylate, Triethylene Glycol Dimethacrylate, Methyl
Methacrylate Monomers, Hema Phosphate, Curing Agents and Stabilizer.

Storage Conditions :
Store at temperature between 10°C to 24°C. Close the cap carefully after use. Keep away from moisture. Shelf life not affected after opening if stored in a cool dry place.

Direction To Use:

a. Preparation:
– Finish newly placed restorations with superfine diamond bur or polish per manufacturer’s instructions.
– Spray with water to remove preparation dust, dry with oil-free air.
– For existing restorations, roughen surfaces with superfine diamond bur, then spray and dry.
– Treat non-cut enamel with 37% phosphoric acid, rinse, and dry.

b. Dispensing:
– Dispense into disposable dish, replace cap promptly.

c. Application:
– Apply immediately with micro applicator, avoid air blowing.
– If contaminated, wash and dry before reapplication.

d. Light Curing:
– Immediately light cure for 20-40 sec (>500mW/cm²).
– Place light source close, repeat if tacky or yellowish.
– Use protective eye wear during light curing.
